Description
Light broken walnuts (quarters) — the value baking grade
The same pale, light-grade walnut kernels broken into quarters — the lowest price per kilo in our walnut range. Quality and freshness are unchanged; only the shape is smaller, which makes no difference once they are folded into a batter or mix. Walnuts provide 14.7g of protein per 100g and are naturally rich in plant omega-3 (ALA).
Best for
- Cake, brownie and cookie batters where appearance doesn't matter
- Granola, flapjacks and trail mixes
- Blending into pesto, sauces and nut roasts
- Stocking up for regular bakers — best value per kilo
FAQ
Why choose quarters over halves? Price. They are the same pale grade as our light walnuts 80% halves, simply broken — so when the nuts are being chopped anyway, quarters save money. Choose halves for decorating cakes and gifting.
Is there an organic version? Yes — organic light walnut pieces for baking, or organic walnut halves for whole kernels.
Available in 250g, 500g, 1kg, 2kg, 3kg and 10kg packs — resealable pouches on most sizes (some large sizes are non-resealable). For a single-size value pack, see Light Broken Walnuts (Quarters) – Stock & Bite 1kg.
