Description
Organic golden linseed (flaxseed) — the milder, sweeter flax
Raw organic golden linseed from Kazakhstan — the same seed family as brown flax, with a gentler, nuttier-sweet flavour and a pale colour that disappears into bread, porridge and family meals. 24.4g fibre and 22g protein per 100g, naturally rich in omega-3 (ALA).
Best for
- Bread and bakes where brown flecks would stand out
- Family porridge and yoghurt — milder for fussier eaters
- Grinding fresh for flax eggs and smoothies
- The daily 1–2 tablespoons, taken with plenty of fluids
FAQ
Golden or brown — what's the difference? Mostly flavour and looks: golden is milder and sweeter, brown earthier and more robust. Nutrition is closely matched.
Whole or ground? Grind or chew well to unlock the seed — whole linseed largely passes through undigested. Ready-milled: Organic Ground Linseed.
How should I store it? Cool, dark and dry; reseal after opening or move to an airtight jar.
Packs run from 250g up to a 25kg trade sack — better price per kilo as you scale, and WFE Club members get trade pricing.
